We wanted to create a bedroom that would feel calm, serene and peaceful for our guests. The colours selected for the guest bedroom styling were soothing to enhance this feeling of tranquility even more. The canvas so to say was done, the lovely wooden floors, white walls and white linen sheer curtains.

As the  white  IKEA drawer unit was from our previous apartment which worked perfectly in this space and wanted to keep it as it provided ample storage for visitor’s clothing etc.

Thus we needed to source a bedside table, lighting and some accessory items. We didn’t want to go overboard with the budget, and I am a firm believer that you don’t have to buy  the most expensive items to create a beautiful room. A  beautiful matt black metal bed and bed frame was sourced from IKEA, as well the white side table… Other than the fact that the bed is modern and contemporary , it is extremely comfy as we selected the top quality  matters from IKEA as well.

Unfortunately it was not available at the day of the shoot. This will create beautiful ambient lighting and reading lights at night .
